Lions and Bookshelfs and Baseball, Oh my!!

LIONS
I have been watching a show on Animal Planet called "Into the Pride." The host, Dave Salmoni, who is a predator expert, is called to come help this aggressive pride of lions that are on an animal reserve in South Africa. If these lions don't quit charging people (especially tourists!) they will be destroyed. It's Dave's job to calm them down, and help them get used to having people around. It's very interesting because he walks into these lion's territory, and at times is 20 feet away from them. He even gets charged a couple of times!! It's also funny because he talks to the lions and gives them all cute names. There are 4 cubs and their names are Rough and Tumble, and the other set is Shizzle and Minizzle. :) You should check it out! It's on Animal Planet and it comes on Thursday nights.

BOOKSHELF
My friend Holley asked me to post pictures of my bookshelf with the decorations back on so here it is! I have changed it about 3 times since I finished it, but this is my favorite set up so far. The flowers on top are my bouquet from the wedding. I thought I wanted to put it in a galvanized bucket/vase, but I kind of like the clear vase so you can see the ribbon and the stems. What's your opinion?

BASEBALL
Tonight we are going to an Astros game with our good friends Eli and Laura. It's my first Astros game ever, and I'm WAY excited!! I have experienced many ballparks across the United States, so I figured I really need to attend a game at my now "hometown ballpark." (Even though I will always be a Rangers girl at heart) I promise to take lots of pictures and share them with you soon. :)

  1. I really like the way you have it set up especially with some books standing up and some laying down--it looks like you were reading them and just set them back all casual. I have a very hard time arranging shelves to look nice but not too arranged. You did a gret job!

  3. Yep it sure is!! Glad you like it. That's the only size that looks good. I tried my wedding one and it seemed a bit to large for the easel.

Now I'm inspired. I going to start searching for a shelve.
