Rangers vs. Yankees

{This was from this year when we saw the Rangers play the Astros}

We are SOOOOOO excited for the Rangers!! They are playing the Yankees for the American League Championship Series. It's a long time coming for the Rangers, and it has been so much fun having a team we care so much about in the post season. I remember going to Ranger games as a kid, and going to the mall when the players came to sign autographs. I was raised a Ranger fan and will forever be one. :)

Tonight we are watching game 1 here at home, while resting for our run tomorrow morning. After we run, we will drive up to Arlington to meet my brothers for game 2!!

Now, this is a little bittersweet for me because my favorite baseball player of all time is the manager of the Yankees, Joe Girardi. I am NOT rooting for the Yankees, but I am still Joe's #1 fan. {and have been since I was 4 years old} I did get to meet him a few years ago when I was a ticket intern for the Rangers. He was doing broadcasting for the Yankees at that time. That was a great day!
