Yesterday was the first day of school for my preschool kiddos. We had an awesome day, and I think our class is going to be great this year. We have a good group of precious 3 year olds, who seem to be pretty mellow. They loved learning what each of their "jobs" were in the classroom, and they are full of so much personality too. My favorite moment of the day was at lunch. One of the sweet little boys was sitting next to me eating his lunch when he turned to me and said, "So....what did you do this weekend?" It was too cute!! I can't wait to get to know them more. :)
We are really excited for the month of September, because it means many fun things are in store. It's the beginning of fall, which I think has become one of my most favorite seasons. I got an e-mail today saying Starbucks is now serving their pumpkin spice lattes. If that doesn't say fall, I don't know what does!! We have so many things planned for the next couple of weeks.
This Saturday we are attending the first Texas A&M football game of the season vs. Stephen F. Austin. You know fall is just around the corner, when football is starting!! We are going to get to College Station a little early so we can eat at Abuelo's, the best mexican food ever!! It is worth the trip, and one of the restaurants that remind us of home.

Sunday night we are going to a JOHN MAYER concert!! For those of you that don't know, John is my most favorite musician of alllllllllll time. I just love his mellow music and intelligent lyrics. He always puts on a good show.

We have lawn seats at the pavilion up in The Woodlands, and I'm definitely looking forward to it. I'm hoping the weather cooperates as well, and we'll have a nice relaxing date night.

We don't have any plans for Labor Day, but I'm sure we'll come up with something fun. At least it will be nice getting to spend the whole day with Bryan. I just loves days like that.
The weekend after Labor Day we are headed up to Colorado to spend some time with Bryan's fam! We are going to visit Nathan, and the boys are going to help him re-roof (not sure if that's the correct term) his house. While me and Carla (and hopefully Nate's girlfriend Kendra) will be shopping. I'm pretty sure the girls are getting the better end of that deal, which is fine by me. ;)
I am looking forward to the Colorado weather and those beautiful mountains. Who knows, maybe we'll move there someday...
