"In your wedding dress, to have and to hold...."

I have decided to participate in this week's "Show Us Your Life" that is put on by Kelly's Korner blog. Her link is on the right. She is very open about her faith and has the sweetest little girl named Harper. I really enjoy reading her blog! Every Friday she gives a certain topic and then other people blog about that certain thing. They put links to their blog on her site. She just finished a home tour, and now she's moving on to wedding stuff, birthday parties, etc. Anyway, now it's on to my wedding dress!

My dress was ivory and strapless with a little beading and lace on the top. It had a sweetheart neckline, and some rouching (spelling?), a lace up back, and a small train. My veil went down to about my elbows.

Here is the back of it as we walk up the steps. I got my dress from the second store that I looked at dresses. It was the first dress that made me feel like a bride (and camouflaged certain areas) I bought it a couple of months after I was engaged. Because of this, I was always a little unsure about it, even in the couple of days leading up to my wedding. But, in the end I LOVE how it turned out. Everything came together and I like how it looks, especially in pictures.

I love this picture of us! I think it captures the feel of our wedding. One last note, I think I'm going to sell my dress on ebay soon. So, if you know anyone who is looking for a dress, or if you are just send me a message or comment and I'll let you know the details.

I thought I would leave you with a song. Since I'm new to the blogging world, I don't quite know how to put youtube videos on here. So I will just leave you with the link. It's called "Wedding Dress" by Matt Nathanson, and the title of this blog are lyrics from this song. I first heard it on One Tree Hill. Hope you like it!! (Click on the song title below)
