Meet Kelty!

We would like to introduce the newest addition to the Clements family. Meet..... Kelty!!

We picked him up Monday from a breeder outside of Austin. He is half Australian Shepherd, and half Sheltie. He was born December 6, 2009, so he is about 6 1/2 weeks old.

He is a big furball, and is very playful. He loves small spaces, and tries to fit himself into every nook and cranny of our house. He has even crawled behind the couch, in the little space between it and the wall. He has sweet puppy breath, and sharp puppy teeth! :)

His coloring is called blue merle, which means his face is grey, black, and white, and he also has 3 spots on his body (as you can see in the picture). We are trying to crate train him, so for now he sleeps in a crate in the laundry room. He has done pretty well the past couple of nights, only waking up twice. He only cries for about 20 minutes and then goes right back to sleep. We are also working on potty training. Tonight there is a free class at PetCo that we are going to try out. Hopefully they will have lots of helpful tips!
