Well it's officially spring around these parts! We celebrated with Rangers Opening Day on Good Friday of this last week. It was me, Bryan, my dad, and both brothers. I loved celebrating the start of a new season with all my favorite guys. :) Jordan has the picture of the 4 of us on his camera, so I'll have to get it from him. In the meantime...
It was a beautiful day for baseball!! The atmosphere was electric, the only thing I can compare it to is the playoff games we've been to.
Ryan and I even ended up on the news. Cheering on "Tim" who was attempting to eat the 2 foot long hotdog (boomstick) that's a new addition to the ballpark this year. It looked pretty disgusting if you ask me. I'll pass on 2 feet of hot dog. Click

My fam had to head home right after the game so they wouldn't miss sweet Charleigh Jo's FIRST birthday party!! So sad we had to miss it, but I hear she was the life of the party. I was super jealous I didn't get to taste these cute cookies from Miss Piggy's bakery in Amarillo. {By far the best cookies ever} Thanks for the pic mom!
We had a lazy Saturday that including shopping at the Grapevine Farmers Market, downtown. That afternoon we took Kelty to a local park to a ball field and hit around and played catch. Then we hit up Bahama Bucks for a delicious Strawberry Cheesecake snow cone with cream of course! Ahh, the taste of summer. :)
Easter Sunday was perfect! We got all dressed up to head to
church. (sorry, didn't take a pic) We listened to an amazing sermon and some great music, I just love our church home!! Challenges us every week. After that we had Sunday lunch at Saltgrass, then grabbed a few groceries on our way home. We even took a Sunday afternoon nap, it was glorious!! I finished the day off by making some cheesecake, which was the perfect end to the day.
"We were called from the dark, and now we stand in Glory's light, Jesus, Savior King."
This is from one of my favorite songs written by Michael Bleecker, our worship pastor.
Happy Easter!!!
