Celebrations

I wanted to give some updates on the celebrations we've been having. Last weekend was Bryan's birthday, and we started celebrating on Saturday.

We went to the horse races with some of our good friends here in Houston, Eli and Laura. Eli and Bryan share the same birthday so it was fun getting to celebrate together. Laura and I surprised the boys with tickets to the races! We've never been so it was a new experience for us all.

We sat up in the club seats in the air conditioning (thank goodness!) where we could look out onto the track through windows.

The Birthday Boys

Sunday (Bryan's actual birthday) we decided to take a day trip down to the beach in Galveston. It was Kelty's first time at the beach, and he LOVED it.

I started the day out by making breakfast of pecan waffles, bacon, and eggs.

We took a break for lunch at McAllister's Deli. We sat out on the patio and overlooked the ocean.

I took a video of Kelty in the water. He wasn't too sure of it at first, but once he got used to it, we couldn't get him out!
